Brian's Story
Brian Steven Messier, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Brian graduated from East Greenwich High School in 2008 and from Penn State University in 2012 receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor concentration in Business. Brian’s plan was always to attend law School. As a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Penn State, Brian organized several community service projects including a campus food drive and a "U Dance" fundraiser.
Brian always loved challenges and he would push himself to excellence. This was also true for him with his music, playing his guitar, and working out at gym. Nothing pleased him more than being with his family, friends and his dog, Hades.
Anyone who ever encountered Brian knows he lit up a room with his larger than life personality and his contagious smile. His family and friends know him as a leader with incredible potential that kept them laughing with his wit and innovative mind. He is unforgettable and we, as a family, will make sure he is never forgotten.
